The 80118 PC and Network Maintenance Tool Kit combines the best elements of our Network Tool Kit with the key tools from our Computer Repair Tool Kit. We then added a Cat 5 Cable Tester to create our most complete Datacom Tool Kit ever. It is the ideal tool kit for any IT department.

This tool kit is tailored for complete computer and network maintenance and troubleshooting. With more than 100 tools for the installation, diagnosis & repair of Ethernet and Fast Ethernet networks over either, UTP or STP cable and the service and maintenance of computer related peripherals and components, this kit is ready to handle any computer or network failure and get your systems up and running in no time.

The 80118 series tool kits are network compatible with 49 of the most requested LAN and network tools, plus four more tools specifically for stripping, terminating (RJ11/RJ45), and punching down (66 & 110 Blocks) Unshielded (UTP) and Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cables. This kit also includes a full feature a LAN Rover Cat 5 Cable Tester for detecting virtually any type of cabling problem. We have also included a special tone and probe designed specifically to meet the needs of datacom users. Not only can it tone and trace inactive wiring, including highly twisted Cat 5e & Cat 6, but it can also detect and send link activation signals for tracing active drops to a Hub or NIC card!

The 80118 tool kit is also computer savvy with more than 50 name brand tools chosen for their usefulness in servicing PCs, workstations, monitors, modems, servers and even printers. We have also incorporated a great selection of hand tools for opening computer cases, installing rackmount equipment and wiring access needs.

The included ESD field service kit (work mat, wrist strap, and ground cord) ensures static free repairs and protects your sensitive equipment from damaging static discharges. In addition, we've included the dual purpose, Stat-Gard ESD Grounding Plug. This handy tool tests both the wall outlet for voltage and proper wiring, but also serves as a confirmed grounding point for your ESD mat.
