Telecom Test EquipmentPocket Toner2 Tool Kit
Pocket Toner2 is a cable termination-testing device with one port for the cable lead and an audible sounder for tone verification.
It is equipped with a LED lamp indicating DC shorts, cable splitters and other self-grounding mis-wiring. With the family of accessory connectors, virtually any cable type can be toned and tagged for future reference. Continuity and termination of cables can be tested with its unique bi-colored LED indicator. With this amazingly compact kit you can tone and test virtually any type of cabling including coax cables; telco and LAN modular plugs and 66 blocks; BNC terminated LAN wiring; RCA-type adapters for audio and video applications; and the kit even includes alligator clips for toning low voltage security and telco installations. Main body male thread connector gives a more secure connection for the various adapters, allowing for replacement of each accessory independently. No need to carry multiple tools. Bi-colored LED lamp indicates a short or device in-line (red) or a 75 ohm or 50 ohm termination (green). Female thread connection allows for quick removal of male F connectors and easy change-out of multiple adapters.
